We enjoyed this beautiful State Park with nicely shaded campsites, some more open than others. Restrooms were older, but acceptable. The staff was exceptional! There are nice trails for hiking and it's very quiet. The only 'issue' - bugs. Gnats to be specific. They were very bad at dusk and dawn, so bring bug spray. We camped in a small travel trailer.
Nice clean and quite during the week. Only 30amp.
Very nice, clean state park. No sewer or WiFi, but has cable. Some 50 amp sites, but are first come-first served. We had to take a 30 amp. Lots of space to walk the dog and bike ride. Spacious sites - some shaded.We would stay here again if in area.
Awesome campground. Warmer weather brings the no see'ems out and you need plenty of deet or equivalent. Worth the trip and will return as soon as possible. Has electric, water and cable with 19 channels. Has washer and dryer.
Nice state park with great volunteers and hosts. Nice general store at office with some really neat items for sale. Campground is currently undergoing some major renovations. Looks like they are doing some upgrading and adding of sites. Nice playground and real close to Kings Bay and Florida state line.
Clean, quiet, on the river. Very convenient to downtown st marys. Couldnt spend anytime outside since march is no see'um season, especially by the water. Would stay here again but not in the spring.
Agree w/ others. There are only a few sites w/ sewer, so if that's important reserve early. The cleanest bathhouse I've ever seen in a SP. Plenty to do: nature ctr, bike trails, miniture golf. Staff very helpful & efficient. Never did find Wi-Fi.
Great campsites, nice space between sites, some offering good privacy as well. Beautiful setting, very clean facilities. Wonderful for walking and biking in beautiful natural setting. They do need a dog park, though.
