Stayed right by the Creek for a week. Friendly neighbors and staff. Will always stay here if I can get by the Creek.

This is a marvelous campground with easy access to Smokey Mountain Natl Park. It's one of the few RV parks I've stayed at that is completely quiet, located in a beautiful valley without trains, traffic, or plane noise. Sites well manicured with full hook ups. Stayed for a week in a 41' Wanderlodge Motorcoach. Owner John Clegg is very helpful and understanding of motor coaches as he has owned one for a number of years. This will become a yearly stop on the way to warm weather and again on the return trip in the Spring.

We loved the place. People were very nice and Maggie Valley is a beautiful place to visit. Very nice weather in the summer with highs about 80 in the summer.

Great site, super friendly manager (Jim). Full of local info and we saw him making rounds which is always nice. Sites are level, a few have new concrete pads, others have gravel pads. Neatly kept. Drives are compacted gravel - no dust. Creek side has trees and more privacy, across the street not so much. No showers/bathrooms so no tent camping. Does have a nice covered area and laundry. Close enough to town to walk and roads flat enough for our 60(ish) bodies to enjoy our bikes. Motorcycle mecca- you get maps of all the local motorcycle rides on check-in. We stayed in Site 62 on the creek (beautiful) in a 37’ motorhome.

Addendum to our Wonderful Stay - we had good cellular coverage with data on both AT&T and Verizon networks in the campground. Up on the mountains we lost coverage with AT&T but still had two bars on our Verizon phone. Campground has WiFi but did not use it. Cable is good with over 58 channels (no need for a box).

This is a nice quiet campground. Mostly for older campers. No pool/ play park/bath house. Nice laundry.Beautiful grounds. They prefer longer stays. Camp hosts are friendly and helpful. prices are much better by week/month Cash or check. Within walking distance of town, by sidewalks. Definitely a yearly trip. Located close enough to Cherokee, Gatlinburg to visit, but come back home to quiet. Also elk can be seen in Cherokee certain time of year.

This has become a annual stay for me and my friends. Love the quietness of the place and the beauty of the ever changing mountains. Staff is always helpful. Summer is cooler. They are a stickler for pets on a leash and stay off the grass with your vehicle. I don't have a problem with this, but some do. They have a creekside, but it's more expensive. I prefer the off the creek side, where you can view the mountains. They only except CASH or CHECK. must have fully contained camper, as there is no restrooms on facility. Nice laundry room. Nice large pet run, chain link. Even my small pup could run free, and he loved it, AND it was clean. People were cleaning up after their pets. How awesome is that?
