The only good thing about this park is the sites are fairly level and most are paved. The water is red with sediment. Most sites are small to the point the TT and truck cant fit ob the same site. The have rules but none are followed.
If I could do minus, I would! They advertise wireless but there is none! The sites are not level! The prices are high and the place run down!
Run down park, bathroom/showers are nasty, uneven sites
We needed a quiet and restful place to stay and found this treasure of an rv park - super quiet campground - just beautiful and so nicely maintained - glad I found it - We enjoyed walking the nice nature trail too - Thank you so much and look forward to returning again over the summer.
Cant speak much for prior review but what I can say is that this place is really pretty and in a lovely wooded area - Restrooms/bathhouses are kept very clean and stocked / laundry facilities on site which is very helpful and a great big fenced in dog park - Great neighbors and lovely office staff - I would definitely stay here again and again - and I came in a 45' Class A motor home - All was good for my stay!
Campground This park is just a campground, no pool or recreation of any kind. The office workers were so nice and very friendly throughout our stay so that got them an extra star. We were lucky they allowed us to check in early. Lots of trees lots of hills most of the sites were sparsely graveled with orange dirt lots of slopes with grooves (poor). Because of this it is hard to level. Sites are very close together. Our site was never cleaned. Cigarette butts all over the place including the cigarette package. We didn’t have a picnic table so I took the liberty of dragging one off of the site next to us that had two. Restrooms - the first night didn’t look too clean but, each day after they were clean and I could smell the cleaner. Plenty of trees and chirping birds which made it pleasant walking around. They were doing a lot of construction right behind our campsite. It was loud and constant. There were plenty of other empty campsites they could have put us in. I don’t understand why we were stuck here. After walking around, I think people actually live in this park. Internet is awful but they warn you about that on their website. And the cable tv was terrible too all the stations break up while watching them. It was one of the few parks I have been in that do not recycle.
I have stayed at Crown Cove numerous times in the past. This past week, I called at approximate 5:45 pm tabs made a reservation for one night. This would have been approximately/ weeks out. That evening, I found out our plans were gonna change. I called the next morning to cancell. They said their policy is no refund, no exceptions. I don't mind paying a penalty, but a 100% forfeiture is pretty steep. Won't be staying here again. Two weeks should have been plenty of time to fill that vacancy.
Don t waste your money! They have no amenities, laundry room was a joke. The bathrooms were disgusting. Manager was very rude. The sites are very close together, muddy, and terribly uneven. The dog run was full of dog poop, that trail they advertise about is a joke. All the workers there start their trucks at 4am. Rules only apply to certain people.
