Reviews for Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds

| Very good for short term camping.

Good place to camp when visiting the Cleveland area. Some sites full service, some electric only. Convenient to get to via I-71, Bagley Rd and Eastland Ave. Stop at fairgrounds office to get permit. Cost: $30 per night. Stayed here 8/15-17 2014.

We come to Cleveland frequently for work. We always stay here if we can. The office staff are very nice and helpful. The lots are big and shaded. They are close to the interstates, restaurants and shopping. It's always very clean. They do not have laundry facilities but that's the only negative thing I can say about this place.

| Camping Permit Needed

we tried to call and couldn't reach anyone, so we just dropped by to check it out. A permit is needed to camp, and we could not find anyone around, so we went on our way, to spend the night at the turnpike rest area. we were very disappointed.

| Good value

A little difficult to find, a little difficult to find the office to pay. Back in sites with full hook-ups close to downtown but no other amenities. 50a power runs 3 ACs just fine which is needed in July! Worth the effort for a short stay in Cleveland.

Back in site with sewer, electric and water on one side. Other side has mostly just electric. Our site was reasonably level with shade from trees. Site was dusty, but the location was perfect. Lots of places within walking distance and not far from the places we needed to drive either. Uber was also an option. Pulled our 40 feet in easily.
