| Decent stay, might do if needed

By user-5786743... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2017-07-27 to 2017-07-30

We hit the twin cities during a time when all other ground were full, so this was as close as we could get. Took 40 minutes to get into the city each day. Site was $25 for electric and water per night. Got 20 channels on antenna and 3 bar cell signal with Verizon. Did not use restrooms but looked at - kind of nasty. No wifi. Reasons to stay; level grass site, the town, Farmington has a lot to offer. Reasons not to stay: Lots of honking and train whistles going at all hours. A few of the clientele there seemed to be more low income, busted trailers, cars without windows and lots of smokers. Also charged $5 to dump even though you paid to stay. Expensive for a pice of grass in a field

| Good Location & Price

By user-5409141... on 2017-10-23.

For a fairground this is a pretty good park. It a good option for visiting Minneapolis as RV parks in the city are closing. There is water & electric (50 amp) and a dump station. Satellite reception is good but, no wifi. Spaces are very large however, during large events sites will be double and triple stacked and extension cords & hoses will be necessary. Sites are first come and $25/night tax included. There are two camp hosts neither is identified. When entering the fairgrounds drive until the pavement ends and turn left the RV area will be straight ahead. Didn't use the showers or laundry. We stayed in a 34' motorhome and would stay again.
