| Beautiful
This park is beautiful and it is a County Park. So many activities for the kiddos !! There's a path around the entire lake and it was accessable for me. We stayed here from May 14th and left on the 16th. We will stay here again when in the area. The bathhouse could use some work to make it more wheelchair friendly. The one shower stall didn't drain but the other stall was great. It was a bit tight inside to maneuver my power chair. We paid $27 per night for water and electric.
This is a great campground also it is fun for the kids inside the campground is a train ride a merry go round putt putt gem mining the staff at the campground are great Happy camping
| Wooded Campground
Nice wooded campground in the Dan Nicholas Park of Rowan County. We were on site 33 with our 33 ft travel trailer. The sites were very wooded, some narrower and shorter than others. You have to call to make reservations and they will help you find a site for your RV. Most sites are back in. Bathhouse was directly across the street from our site. It was cleaned daily. Three stalls and two showers. WiFi & cell reception are almost non existent! This is a great campground to unplug. We enjoyed all the Dan Nicholas park had to offer with a short walk from our site. Overall a lovely place!
