Reviews for Dancing Eagle RV Park

Nice overnight stop. $10/nite. FHU. Gas/diesel across the road. Grocery store next door (pricey). Casino thru the gate.

This is our 3rd stay here. $10 per nite for full hookup and good WiFi. No cable TV but we pick up about 15 channels and did not even put up our antenna! Casino is nice and they have a good, reasonably priced restaurant.

By user-6238863... on 2017-10-23.

This location had about full hookup sites. We arrived about 7:30 pm. There was a sign that told us to fill out paperwork and place $10 in the envelope and drop in slot. This was a grave and pebble lot. Very little lighting but it was a short walkable distance to the casino. We would probably stay again.

| Now Sky City Casino and Hotel. Wonderful

By user-5816601... on 2017-10-23.

Beautiful desert vistas. Very close to Sky City Cultural center. Overnight at RV park gets free use of outdoor pool, business center and fitness center at the hotel. Nice package deal for 1 night stay, 2 buffet breakfasts at hotel, 2 lunches at Cultural Center, 2 admissions to Cultural Center and museum, saves $30. Gamblers looked happy. All pull through sites with full hook ups. Level and long, gravel. Private bathroom, 2 sinks and tiled shower in 2 shower rooms each, men's and women's. Looks like LUXURY hotel bathroom. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

Flat patch of gravel behind a block wall. Typical casino. Full facilities but nothing special. OK for a night off the road

The last review is incorrect. It's for another casino. This RV Park is nice. It is a gravel area. There are only 5-6 pull thrus. The rest are back in. The cost is 11.36 a night. They have washer/dryers as well. Short walk over to the casino. Very nice grocery store next door that gives a discount for 55+. Also there is no tax. If you have time the Acoma Pueblo The Sky City culture center is very interesting. It's about 12 miles from the RV Park. The staff is very friendly. If you arrive when they are closed there is an envelope to register yourself.

One of the better stops on this trip. Nice fenced yard with security guard, good casino, good restaurant, store within walking distance. The $10 hook up fee was won back in about ten mins at the slots. Might stay a few days.

| Perfect overnight spot

Nice overnight stop. 5 pull thru spots. Grocery store in walking distance. $10 for full hook ups if you get the casino players card (free). Would come back again.

| Great value - safe, clean fenced lot!

By user-5778675... on 2017-10-23.

Looking for a quick overnight stop - at $11.38 for FHU, this was a great find and a great value! Sheldon was more than welcoming and friendly. Security patrols the lot at night. Nice market with varied selections and fresh produce - also has a large hardware section. EVERYONE was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

| Nice stopover spot.

By user-5801703... on 2017-10-23.

Everyone seems to agree. This is a good overnight resting spot. With a Player's Card you pay $10 instead of $20, laundry when office is open. Short half block walk out through the gate and you are in the casino. Will stay when drive through again.

We have stayed here before and its good for overnight. Close to I40 but only heard the train whistle Prices just went up to $20.00per night unless you get the players card and then it drops to10.00.

| Thank you Dancing Eagle

By user-5801249... on 2017-10-23.

Yes, this is a gravel lot, which could get sloppy in the rain. But, they have created a nice convenient little Oasis here. It is an amazing value for $11.38. Everyone was very polite, welcoming, and appreciative of our business. The casino was as smokey and as clean as any others. We played slots for 30 mins., and walked away with all of our money and a $5 discount on fuel at their station across the street.

| Great overnite stop

By user-5204840... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2014-10-08 to 2014-10-08

Great place for an overnite stop on I40. $10 for the nite, full hookup, and gas station across street has cheapest gas around.

| Nice little park

By user-5887752... on 2017-10-23.

This park is good for a night or more. Campground offers full-hook up pull thru & back-in sites. Water pressure is very good, sites level & gravel. Satellite friendly. WiFi is a little spotty, as I think it comes from the casino. Close enough to the Dancing Eagle Casino. There is even a walkway with a gate to open to go over. The area near here is beautiful & worth a little drive. Especially the 12 miles down to the Acoma Pueblo. Price was right at $11.36 / night. Would definitely stay here again if in area.

| A good casino RV park

By user-6065745... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2017-06-24 to 2017-06-25

We stayed one night only and that was enough. It is very convenient to I/40 and with a very low price of $11.00. It is a nice casino and has a wonderful nearby grocery with nice, friendly and helpful employees in both the casino and the grocery. The drawbacks were the gravel parking lot, close and tight sites. The bathroom at the RV area is only open during office hours . There is no shower onsite, but you are issued a shower voucher to use at the travel center across the street. It is a fun place to stop for a night or two if you want to enjoy the casino .

FH great place. Grocery on one side and restaurant on the other. Across the street gas.

| Nifty little place

Casino, Store, restaurant, cheapest fuel prices around here. All 50 amp full hook up for $11.81 a night. Fit my 38 ft fifth wheel nicely. Would stay here again in a heart beat. Surrounded by rocky outcrops, not sure if you call them Mt's or bluff's. Beautiful scenery. Rv park is enclosed with a cement block wall but it does not block the view.

| Simple, inexpensive, noisy

By user-6045935... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2018-09-26 to 2018-09-28

Late self check-in is no problem. Sites are all gravel, some a little bit uneven. Free WiFi works very well. No restrooms, but all full hook-up sites. Close to interstate and railroad: might get very noisy. Good stay for one night.

| Great casino parking

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2018-10-29 to 2018-10-31

FHU, just a parking lot. Self check in after hours not an issue. Get a free shower certificate for route 66 travel center next door. Also has a fenced in pet area. All for $11.38. Will return.

Good overnight stay. FHU and good tv reception. Front desk gal friendly. If after hours, honor system. $11.38. But lost that and more at casino!

By user-5378646... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-03-16 to 2019-03-17

We stayed 1 night - very courteous staff. Easy in & out. Bill for 1 night & 5 gallons of propane was less than $28 (full hook ups - 50A). Had a supermarket, casino, restaurant, Gas/diesel station all within walking distance. Pet friendly, dirt/gravel parking area.

Very quiet, enjoyed nice dinner at Restaurant and Casino next door, Great place to stay, electric, water and sewer hookups, only $11.38 per night.

| Very Accommodating, Exceptional Price for FHU

We called after office hours and there was no opportunity to leave a message, so weren't able to make a reservation. A few minutes after we called we received a call back from Sheldon who said they did have sites available. When we arrived he helped us pick out a site. The whole place is gravel, and the sites are level and not too close together. Groceries, gas, restaurants and the casino are all very near. There is a small dog park too (no grass, but it is fenced.) For $11.38 per night it can't be beat. Oh, by the way, Sheldon said that the price was going to go up in May 2019, but he didn't know what the price would be.

Great place to stop overnight and just off I40. Friendly staff and clean reasonably priced laundromat. Will definitely stay again whenever we are in the area.

We have a 40 ft 5th wheel. Small park but lots of room! We had an extra vehicle and cargo trailer and parked in #15 and was able to park next to it no charge. No questions about how many people or pets and just gave them our name and paid $15.93 for one night full hookups. Walked to the casino about 200 feet away through the back gate and also the grocery store next to it and the gas station and parts store next to that. Everything needed in the middle of nowhere. Will probably stay an extra night. Verizon didn't work very well here. Nice size washer and dryers available next to office available during business hours. No showers on property. Sheldon in the office is very helpful and easy going. The Indian lady is a bit different. Opposite personalities. Sat up our 2 pet fences by our steps so our 3 small pups could potty. Take poo bags to the park as none were available. Site 15 is not level at all. About 4" higher one passengers side nearest neighbors plug in.

| Convenient, well-equipped, and affordable.

Not a quiet place at all with big rigs constantly moving through the gas station across the street and trains passing across the highway day and night, but it has everything you need at a very good price. Just wear earplugs at night. The park, which is just a parking lot, just raised the rates from $11.38 to $15.98 a few days ago and I was told will be raising them again soon to be closer to the regional average per night. The laundry is a great deal at $1 per wash and dry, there's propane on location ($4 and change per gallon), a good cafe at the casino (lamb ribs are great) and a nice, convenient grocery store next door. Stay is restricted to 28 days. It served us well but will probably be upwards toward $20/night in a month or so. Verizon signal is adequate if you stay toward the west part of the lot (3 bars or 4 with booster), wifi is free but sporadic.

| GREAT STOP

By user-5282984... on 2019-08-09.

Great for a night stop along I-40. Flat gravel lot, ok spaced. Not scenic unless you like the casino. But for $11 it s good
