Stayed here for a weekend in July this year. Staff is wonderful and helped us get parked and told us everything we needed to know about the park. Great beach with inflatables, kayaks, and paddle boards. Full hook up including DTV also. Love this place and can't wait to stay here again soon!

Great R V park staff is wonderful, helpful & friendly. We have 34 ' w/ dolly helped unhook it & took it to site & helped us w/ propane & to our site. Great Lake/Beach large sites, clean showers, nice store/ shop. We stayed a week in July on our trip across county to Grand Canyon & Yellowstone. We stay here every time we are in Suffolk Virginia. We love it. If you are in the area you need to check it out

I will be staying here when I am in the area. Friendly staff clean facilities. Gravel roads and site pads. Sites are large, no cable but reception on bat wing is good.

Stopped for one night and sites were nice. Beach definitely reminded me of old resort days. Lots of water toys for kids to play on. Friendly and efficient staff.

| Nice park

Great place with helpful staff and lots of amenities. Wifi is a bit dodgy. Lots are shaded with nice older oaks and the beach is a throwback to your days at summer camp. Call ahead if you are expecting peace and quiet -karaoke may be going in the pavilion adjacent to sites 32-28. Unless, of course, drunk tonedeaf people and their precious unique little snowflake children howling late into the night is your thing. You've been warned.

| An overnight observation

We needed a place to overnight along our route from Philly into Tennessee. Based on the postive reviews, we chose Davis Lakes as a waypoint. We were not disappointed. We were greeted by friendly staff and were escorted to parking in a pull-thru site. The park was clean and well kept. Other than some perceptible highway noise at the east side of the park, it was quiet and peaceful. There seems to be a lit of attractions and things to do in this area. Too bad we didn't have long to stay, but should we find ourselves again in this area, we will certainly stay here again. T

Stayed there for a week in 2018 Sept- Oct. Went swimming on October 4th and the lake water was great. For the most part this campground attracts a nice group of people and the staff is great. This year we stayed for the month of June. This made for a wonderful relaxing vacation. Once you get to know the area a bit, there are things to do and good places to eat. Places like Williamsburg and Virginia Beach are less than an hour away with Interstate all the way. Many Virginia locals find this place nice.
