| ... But the noise!
Beautiful place, great little beach & even showers in the bathrooms (50. Cents for 3 mins). Nice sits and the little store on 101 has good food plus super WiFi. Why 2stars? There is an air base just a few miles away and they practice all day long. Jets right over head for two days. The first 10-15 were cool but all day! Go further south!
| Great place for mountain and sound views.
We lucked out and we're able to stay here on a beautiful late winter weekend. Even with 2/3rd of the camping sites closed there was still an excellent selection to choose from. Staff was friendly and the sites were clean. We look forward to staying here again. If you forgot something it's easy enough to do run into Oak Harbor where there is a big orange hardware store and a wally world.
| If you can tolerate the Navy planes, it's worth it
This place takes our breath away every time we come here. I've caught fish off the beach and walked the bridge. The views are amazing, the sunsets top tier. But...the first time we came, I reached for my imaginary AR15, when we were woken up by the screams of the military jets. Laugh with me (at me)... I thought we were under attack. Bring ear plugs for when they fly at 2 in the morning. This place is worth it.
