We were traveling through, but wanted to stay in a nice place. This was it! The camping at Deep Creek lake State Park is beautiful. The organisation lacks a little. It was first come first serve in off season. We called ahead, they said they had space for a 35' RV, but when we arrived the space (2 with service, 2 without for that size) had been given away. We squeezed ourselves into a 30' space only with electricity. It worked. Park is great for water sports, picnicking and hiking. Area is gorgeous. Not easy to get to with big rigs. Tight turns. Don't try if you're larger than 35'. It's 20 miles each way away from the interstate.
Beautiful park but in need of modernization. Only one loop with electric. Roads are not designed for today's big RVs, but if you take it slow and easy, you should be able to find a site. Watch for low branches! The lake is Beautiful.
