| " Total Nightmare "
This is totally not a place that I would ever recommend to anyone. Although if one day you find yourself near broke, desperate or both. Then and only then would I keep this place in mind. Especially if your needin' to think on the fly, or to come up with a quick back up plan, because even on a major holiday, this place will have availability. Sure it'll be alittl' on the crowded side, but it will " save the day " sort if speak, jus' keep in mind that you will have to lower your expectations, " A lot ". These days pickin' a descent rv and/or campground anywhere in the country, or for that matter the central carolina area for alittl' R & R, or jus' a quick visit, camp or stop off while travelin' thru, shouldn't be all that hard, especially with today's technology at our every disposal. Anyway long story short, and gettin' myself back on track, because to be truly honest, this is actually kind of complicated for me to explain, since jus' about everyone in our vacation party for the most part, enjoyed themselves enormously. And it's rather unfair to have you all think, that I am passin' our low rating towards the city, or the people of Asheboro, NC, all the wonderful members of the NC Zoo, several of the fine shops, hotels, restaurants and other neighboring areas outside Asheboro, NC that were visited durin' our stay, because that's not our intent. The concerns we all experienced are towards that of the rv/ campground itself, and a lack of effort on their behalf to properly upkeep, sanitize, and maintain potential hazardous issues to the property more effectively, especially when majority of the parks guests are in attendance. Lastly, the professionalism and respect a few individuals passed on to us durin' our visit, was very unsatisfactory to say the least. I truly believe that with the right opportunity, this particular location could have the potential to be a exceptional place to vacation on a more frequent basis. Nonetheless, with the experience we recently encountered, I seriously don't believe we'll be goin' back anytime to soon. For those of you that don't take heed to this warnin', I can only say that I wish only but the best for you. And hope that your visit is a more enjoyable, more memorable moment.

At first I didn't think much of the place. After settling in it turned out not so bad. The road coming in needs work and the lots are not level, but it is a nice quiet place to relax.
