15 minutes on good roads from interstate but a world away. All streets and sites paved. Most wooded and level. 5O amp electric but no water or sewer. I also could not find a pull through. On weekdays just pay in person (28) and save the 8 dollar reserve America fee.
Deer Creek is great for camping or day trips. It's very clean and loaded with tons of things to do. Clean playgrounds, clean beach, and clean bathrooms. My families' favorite state park!
Typical amenities for a state park with many nice sites to choose from. Trails and fishing access straight from the park.
We stayed for 10 days. It rained quite a bit while we were there and some sites were pretty wet. :( our site was great! The playground is awesome! The shower houses were a little less than desirable but were usable. They have a book exchange and I loved it. The beach is nice and so is the lodge.
