| Nice quiet park

Many sites sloped front to back. Water seems to be on wrong side. Needed all 25' of hose.

We have stayed at DeGray several times now and love it. Some of the sites are on DeGray Lake and there are many different camp areas. Lots of hiking trails, sunset cruises, snorkeling trips, horseback riding, golf course. Hot Springs AR is not far away. The Lodge has a great restaurant and there is a swimming pool for all guest to use. The showers and bathrooms were clean. Sites were level with many trees. Can't wait to go back there.

This is a beautiful campground. Sammie checked me in and was helpful in marking all the available and level sites for my little Class C motorhome. There are a few hiking trails. I enjoyed the horseback ride and biking around the park. The beach area very nice. The shower house looked newer and was clean; however, there was NO hot water at all for my shower this morning. Fortunately I was headed into Hot Springs and the bathhouse treatment made up for it. This park has lots of activities to offer a family. Worth visiting. As another reviewer stated, water hookups are in unusual areas for some sites and may require more than 25' of hose. Time of year made it dark and quiet as there were very few campers there.

We stayed at DeGray with a rally group in late April 2018. We took over Loop A and part of Loop B. Neither of those loops have a view of the lake. We were in A18. Asphalt, 30 amp, water. There is a dump station very nearby. We made use of it when we checked out, but it was pretty busy. I'd recommend dumping at times other than checkout as it wasn't busy at all during normal hours. The water spigot was on the opposite side, and we had to use our 2nd 25' hose to connect. This was consistent with most, or all, of the other sites in our loop. Make sure you have an extra hose or one >25' and you won't have an issue. The site was not level front to back, so we had to use blocks in the rear. Our site was back-in, and was long enough for our 25' mh and jeep. There is a picnic table and fire ring. The sites are very spacious. The trees are thick, so don't count on using satellite. The bathrooms were clean as were the showers (which we used so as not to fill up our gray tank). The bathhouse is near the entrance to the loop, so it could be a pretty good walk depending on where your site is. There is parking there though. We didn't have an issue getting around the loop, but I think certain sites could present a challenge to big rigs due to the hills and trees. You might want to call ahead and see if you can pick a site that will have good access. We made use of the nice hiking trails...our only complaint is we wish they had some that were longer. The lake is pretty as is the scenery...we enjoyed riding around on our e-bikes...which were the envy of all our group since it's pretty hilly around there. We ate out at the lodge one night...the food was average, but we appreciated not having to cook, so won't complain! it had a nice view of the lake. There was a good bit of poison ivy around, so watch out if you our your dog gets off trail. Neither of us had an issue thankfully! We'd definitely stay here again, but would go for the loop with lake views next time!

Great place. So many things to do. You can rent boats, kayaks and paddle boards at the marina. We Frye s paddle boarding and loved it!Nice hiking trails. We love to ride our bicycles and go down to the beach and swim. Nice clean Bathhouse. We always stay in Loop C and we re lucky enough to be on a site overlooking the water.
