Nicest KOA we have visited in 8 years full-time. Make a reservation and reguest a view site on top of the hill. Dewey and Melissa amazing camp hosts, they go the extra 20 miles. Do not drive I 70 on the weekend. Much history and great little towns all around.

We've been here over two weeks. Kept extending our stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Large, level concrete pads at every site. FHU at every site. Views from sites 1-10 are the best. Clean restrooms and laundry room. Access is greatly improved. There is now an exit right at the entrance to the campground and access back to Central City Parkway is easy. No going through Central City unless you choose to. Don't follow Google Maps, though. It will still take you through town and to the wrong entrance.

| A great KOA

Large level concrete pads with patios and stone fire pits. Roads are gravel. Many sites have great views, some sites have wooden swings. Very clean facilities and helpful staff. Located just minutes from Central City And far enough away from CC Parkway, so no road noise. Would definitely stay here again if in area.

This campground has all you need, full hook ups, level sites, great views and wonderful staff. The only thing they need is better access.

| Great place

New to RVing and our first KOA but have to say we were quite impressed. Wide roads throughout making travel through the campground very easy. Also easy to get in and out of spots. All spots are cement and level, clean and spacious. Staff is great and all campers were very nice to converse with. Close to great exploring as well as Blackhawk and Central City if you like gambling. Didn't try WiFi but did hook up to cable, only 3 channels :(

| Very difficult to get to

By user-5908481... on 2018-06-27.

It's a nice clean park but it was terrifying to get to and out of with a 42 ft 5th wheel. You have to drive past it then down into a very small town with narrow roads then back up a vey steep incline with hairpin turns to even get to the place. We called with concerns about the terrain and they said it was a little winding but not too bad, maybe if you drive it every day in a 4 weel drive but definitely not easy with a big rig!

Great campground with full hook ups and great staff. Like others have said only thing lacking is accessiblity. Sort if scary getting here but once there worth the views and accessibility to surrounding areas. On site laundry, shower, campstore and staff were very helpful.

| THE VIEWS!

I would give more stars if possible! Everything was perfect. Wide gravel roads, concrete pads, large clean restrooms, nice grocery store, outdoor games, play area for the kids and a VERY FRIENDLY STAFF. Endless, amazing views! Can't wait to go back.

It couldn't be better in a site looking over entire valley and Central City. Immediately went down and added extra days. It should be on your list to stay if you're in the area.

| Awesome Stay

Fist thing is that the employees are extremely kind and understanding. They let us drop our trailer before check-in, so that we could head into Denver. Second the facilities are very well keeped. Very Well staffed. They were doing construction, but that did not hinder the stay. Would recommend for anyone that is staying around Denver.

| Really nice KOA

Nice KOA. Facilities are clean and staff is nice. Pancake breakfast everyday during the summer and pizza available in the evenings. We got a full hookup site with a great view and a patio with furniture. Really well stocked gift shop. The place is all rocks with cement pads to park on. Not a lot of shade. One suggestion if you stay, watch the waste hose hookups, the sites are deep and you may find yourself without enough hose (the store has plenty of waste hoses for sale...). There is a lot of outdoor games to play, doggie park, and hot tubs
