Nice quiet site in a lovely wooded area. Well kept pool. Nice friendly staff. Originally staying one night but stayed for six nights. Reasonably priced with AAA discount. Sites very private with fire pit.
We really enjoyed our stay here. They have spots for larger motor homes and tent sites too. Friendly and helpful staff, plus you get the Desert of Maine. We came for one night, stayed three. Mellow and mostly quiet. Easy to get into from highway and close to Freeport.
Great location, just off I-295. Beautiful wooded campsites. Very nice host and hostess. Extremely serene. Surrounded by forest. Went by the nearby KOA, it's in the middle of a field. Checked out Blueberry Pond, it's a mile down a dirt road in the middle of the forest, not too nice. Desert is very nice.
A hidden gem not far off 295. Very close to downtown Freeport. Wooded sites. Very dog friendly with a dog park. We stayed overnight in our Thor Ace MH 30 feet. Wonderful, helpful, friendly staff.
Sites are spacious and the shady and camp manager is very sweet and helpful. Nice picnic tables and fire rings. Sites are not perfectly level and Need some work unless you have automatic levelers. Some sites have many tree roots. Bathrooms are adequate but showers not so much… Only one for each gender and they are very small. That said, the place is really beautiful and easily accessed
Nice campground in old white pine woods. Pull thru full hookup site was “Tight”, but doable with our 40’ fifth wheel. Friendly and helpful staff. Half price on tour of the Desert, which was nice. 10 minutes to LL Bean and shopping. Older facilities.
Very tight entry for a coach especially on the upper part. Lots of trees close to driving path - definitely not a place for beginners!
