We work over the road and 3rd shift. Went in around 3am, called ahead of time to verify check in time and they said anytime. Show up and was told had to pay for previous night so we finally found out actual check-in time which changed from 10 to 11am depending on who you talk to. General bad information and the people get rude. Didn't stay for the idiocracy. Spots are close together. Two stars for price though.
Great facilities. Needs updating. Campground is scheduled for a complete overhaul Aug 2017. Friendly staff.

The RV sites are close together but very level and nicely landscaped with tall trees. The beach and pool are beautiful. Looks like it would be a great place in the summer especially for children.
Had a great time, offers a lot of activities and can book fishing charter on property. Was the Best fishing charter ever experienced. Spots are a little tight but for the price cannot beat it.
Great sites, clean bathrooms and laundry area with secured entrance. Decent WiFi. Playgrounds and pools for the kids. Beautiful bay side views and water access.
We stayed for 2 months over the winter and everything was lovely, luxury, secure, relaxing, friendly, clean, and comfortable! There's a small workout room, convenience store, and lending library in the lobby/front desk. Very nice pool, splash pad, fishing pier, marina to rent kayaks/charter boats, hotel/duplexes/cottages for family/friends without RVs, excellent cable & Wifi. Pet-friendly. All for $20/nt, since it's military, $20 deposit to reserve site & remaining balance to be paid in FULL upon check in, meaning 2 months (4 months, 6 months, etc.) will be due in full, not in monthly installments! We chose to evacuate due to Hurricane Michael, but we were gone for just 1 week and they allowed us to return to our same spot. Unfortunately, we didn't get reimbursed, since the Fort Benning Army Base didn't issue an official evacuation order; but rather, the Governor issued a State of Emergency. We didn't mind, since our lives were most important than the money! Centrally located to everything and Destin has the best dog park in the area, near the commons and airport (see pix). We'll be back next winter!
You definitely have to make reservation head of time. Very crowded RV park everybody military ,very nice RV park clean and quiet everything you need is on Highway 98.....
