Reviews for Destiny Dallas RV Resort

| Tricky to get to BUT worth it

A hundred yds or so. north of exit 460 on I-35, on the west access road. Road construction is going on as of oct 3, 2015. Great park, large parking pads, lots of trees. There is road noise from I-35.

Probably 90% of the park looks like full timers. Good bathrooms with strong, hot showers. Nice cement pad and picnic table. Friendly check in ladies. Don't think it should be called a resort. It's just a park. Good for overnight stop.

| Very Nice with Many Trees

Stayed one night in a pull-through spot for our motorhome and toad. Site was crushed rock and easy to level. Numerous trees throughout. 50 amp electrical hookup showed an error code (L2 low) when connected to Progressive surge protector. Camp maintenance responded immediately. Hookup showed usable on their equipment. Connected, and had no issues. Numerous long-term residents. Careful entering park. Road construction on nearby I35E.

We decided to stay here on the first leg of our full-timing adventure. A weekly rate turned into a monthly. The list to get on for a monthly rate was long, but they accommodated us immediately. The park is nice, shaded, and the staff is friendly. WiFi is free and works well. The grounds are kept up, and the showers, restrooms, pool and laundry are clean. Can't say enough great things about this place. Wife and I are living our time here. My only complaints are that the pool isn't open later, and the guy who won't move his motorcycle, causing it to be tough to back our rig in. Small things that have no bearing on our experience here. We may end up staying here longer than first expected.

| Great park if you can get in

I stayed there for over a year when i moved to the dfw area over 10 years ago. Now I live in the area but use it for one or two nights if I need to get away from the house. Lots of trees, level gravel filled pull through site. Friendly residents. Some freeway noise.
