No facilities except pit toilets (with air freshener I might add). But paved level sites and a beautiful view. Hiking trails and all for $10 a Night
I have been going here for many years. I travel from Florida each year and use this campsite as a home base while I travel out west. It is one of the nicest campsites out West. Nice paved roads, very quiet, not ever crowded. This is my dog's favorite place to camp. When he sees the entrance he gets very excited. Long paths to walk and lots of wild life. Perfect place for tent and RV campers.
On the website, it said the campsite was closed until May. We passed and checked it out anyway, and it turned out to be open (although the amenities couldn't be used yet, and only the right half of the campground was open). Easy access near the road, and beautiful and level spots. To be recommended.
We stayed here July 6th and 7th. Nice paved level sites. (No dump or showers.) We were in a motorhome so no problem. Some nice shade. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice and big spaces. Quiet and clean restrooms. We recommend this place.
Exceeded expectations for FS site. Every road and site surface was paved. Site was level. Site had very good picnic table and fire pit. Bathrooms we're pit toilets and clean. 1 hour to get from site to Canyonlands Needles visitor center.
Beautiful Forest Service Campground. We spent a night here in early July. All the sites are paved and include a table and fire pit. The hosts were nice. We would most definitely stay here again.
