Very dark at night great star watching, awesome campground
Even though this is "dry camping", I gave it 5 stars for location and the spectacular view! We stayed 2 nights in a Class A with toad. Arrived at 3 pm and found a great spot with some shade. Water is available and rest rooms, but no showers. Pick up a payment envelope by the camp entrance and then pick your spot. We pairs $10/night with Senior Pass. There is a locked box for your payment envelope by the entrance. Great little spot!
Each site is drive through with a table and fire ring. The pasture next to us has several steer and buffalo grazing (fenced in)
Well maintained, level sites, mostly pull thru's. Lot's O shade. A good value @ $6 for sr's.
We are italians and rented a RV! Great place to stay! Great BBQ in the night and bathroom very clean and comfortable! Very good price and Devils Tower view from campground
Nice sites with Devils Tower view. We arrived in the afternoon and found no registration envelop available by the slot, drove back to the entrance kiosk for payment. No dump station. We paid $10 and dumped at KOA by the entrance.
Great little campground, easy pull through sites, even with a 36' motorhome and a 22' trailer. Senior Pass for just $6 a night makes it a great deal. Lots of shade in our site under big old cottonwood trees.
What a little gem of a park. No reservations so is first come. We arrived around 1:00 which was great as there were plenty of sites to choose from. We chose a wheelchair accessible one (for obvious reason) there are four in the park that are paved, we parked in our 35 foot motor coach. Pull through with plenty of room for our toad. Spacious picnic table area and 1/2 the regular $12 price. Can't beat it! The only reason for 4 stars was because it is completely dry camping.
A little tight for our 65 foot long wagon train. Be careful as everything is TIGHT! I tore out a buried stump. The park & the view for $6 a day can't be beat! Even had nice phone service (3G) and our Verizon hot spot worked perfectly. Stop here, you'll never forget it!
Got here around noon on a weekday. Campground was pretty much empty and we had what we thought was the best spot in the place! Our view of the monument was like a postcard. the sites are huge. No showers, electricity, or water hookups, but who needs any of that in such a beautiful setting?! We paid $6, with senior pass. CLEAN restrooms. there was even free firewood for all! camp talks at the campground amphitheater are on Saturday evenings. wish we could have stayed here longer. Our best campground in 8 weeks on the road.
All pull thru sites. Roomy. Many with views of the Tower. Clean bathrooms. Arrived around 6pm on Wednesday and there were several spots still open. Need to enter National Park and pay entrance fee to use campground.
We came in about 10AM on Saturday and had no problems securing a spot. This is an exceptionally run Campground. All occupants were considerate of others. Highly recommend. Close to the tower and most sites have a view of Devils tower.
