We checked this place out despite the harsh reviews because my husband wanted to bird hunt in the area and there was nothing else convenient. The woman in charge met us with a smile, said $25 cash or check, directed us to one on the sites reserved for short term that was shaded, adjacent to the laundry and showers with easy pull through. She said to set up and she would drop by to check on things and get our payment. We asked about check out time the next as we weren't sure if we needed a second night. She said if we were still there around 5 she would come by. She helped me with the hook up as my husband unhooked and went exploring. Full hookups were available, 2 restroom/showers about right in the middle of my experience regarding cleanliness and fixtures. Great water pressure and hot! The laundry was adequate and reasonable though I didn't use it because I managed to lock myself out if the camper fir 3.5 hours. Yes, it is mostly a trailer/long term RV park but I felt very safe. I was able to walk to the grocery. We stayed 2 nights. I would stay again.
We found this park through our OnStar search, not RVParky. RVP lists $15.00 p/n, we were charged $35.00, no receipt given, would not take a credit card, CASH or CHECK only. I would not have stayed if we hadn't been so tired. The gentleman we spoke with would not assist us, he had a resident in the park take our money. Now I understand why. The place is run down and messy. Not well maintained at all. It would have been well worth the $15.00, but not the $35.00. Unless you are as tired as we were, I would not recommend this park.
The sites are overgrown and there is a No Trespassing sign.
