We were looking for somewhere else to go camping & my wife found Dingman's Campground in the Delaware Water Gap. Sounded like a cool place to go what with Delaware River right there and all. Had to delay our arrival by 4 days because of heavy rains expected, but they were kind enough to change the dates with no charges. This was the week leading up to the Memorial Day weekend too. Campground was clean, but the roads in campground were in need of repairs to fill the massive potholes. We were in a 28' MH & I have to say the angling of the sites made no sense in relation to the supposed "1 way" roads. Also, the positioning of the water & electric posts were often nowhere near where they should be relative to an RV's hook up. I was lucky to have JUST enough cable (30') to reach the box although I would have liked to be further into the site. Unless you happen to be near one if the 2 bath houses all you have are porta potties. We have camped all over the US, private & park lands & Dingman's was the 1st place to have TWO PAGES OF RULES! Unless you're tenting next to the river you can expect to hear the continuous traffic on Rt 209. Not likely we will camp here again.
