| It's right on the dunes

This place is not fabulous but is good for what we were looking to do. It is so close to the dunes. The staff was friendly and helpful. The space was big enough for our trailer , truck did park utv on the gravel grass. Showers and bathrooms were clean but cold on cold days. On site atv parts and short walk to the beach and lighthouse.

| Not so bad

Definetely geared for dune buggies, sand rails, etc. Most sites had toy haulers full of toys. Some were cargo trailers set up as maintenance garages for their ATVs. Expect the noise from Quads and the like. The ATVers were respectful of the quiet hours. Campground sites are close together. Restrooms were clean. Nice small laundry. ATV rentals available. Friendly staff. We camped in a travel trailer.

Douglas County recently purchased this park. Improvements coming this spring.

| Group site F

We were in Group site F, big site fit 3 55' to 60' truck and trailer units with room for a couple more. No hook ups(in group sites), close dune access about 100 yards away. Went down the street to the end of the pier to dump out, pay $10 and dump(must have cash)
