| Limited space, but decent

We took a chance and came in through the main gate as the gate 2 location is a mystery. The gate guard was super nice and allowed me through. Our trailer is 20' and made it through the obstacles. Any larger and you will have problems. Don't try it if you have a large trailer or big motor home. We arrived on a Sunday and found two spots. Electrical and water hookups good. We took the first site on the left. It appears to be a site that has water runoff due to the road orientation and could be a challenge when raining. Concrete pads, picnic table- good to go. Will report on the rest as we spend a couple of days here. Bath house can be a hike depending on your spot. As reported previously, most sites appear homesteaded. No biggy. We were a bit concerned about availability, but took a chance. Glad we did.

Nice location for Braves'games. Lots of full time campers but usually one site open for those passing through.

Really nice place. You can call for a reservation- in fact you need too. Lots of folks LOVE this park! 678-655-4870 for reservations.

Nice little park. Cindy at office is great. Accommodated my request to stay 2 weeks. Spots are small but shaded. No sewer hookups. Restrooms and shower small but ok. Lake nearby with playground for kids.

| Lovely Small Camp

We came in late at night and were happy to find a site as everything we tried in the Atlanta area was full. The camp is pretty with lots of trees and nice, but small back-in sites. The site was very uneven and had water and electric only, but was fine for our overnight stay. There seem to be a few sites reserved especially for campers passing through although most of them seemed filled with longer term campers or even seemed to be empty rigs. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed For a week in June 2019. Pros: quiet, sites have charcoal grills, clean showers/restrooms. Lots of room between sites. Has a bar across from restrooms. Small lake and beach has some kids playing area. Shelter. Cons: Big,taller (12ft) rigs have to enter and leave via gate 2. Its open weekdays 8a till 2pm. Otherwise you have to call security police. Camp not tidy, needs a good cleaning up of road, sites. Could use a few more trees removed so ground cover can grow. All sites back in concrete pads but are small, narrow, and badly sloped wrong. Bring lots of extra blocking to try get your rig level. Water and 30/20amp only. Hold Tank Dump site is designed backwards. Restrooms are distant from most of the camp. Coin laundry machines are in the restrooms. There's several rigs you can tell are very permanent...they're covered in pine needles and cones, trash,junk surrounds them, and so dirty that you can tell rules about length of stay are not enforced. Also noticed a car left on a jack, tire and brakes missing. Despite the drawbacks, its super close to Atl. Great for visiting the city.
