Very nice park and super friendly.
| Beautiful, clean family place
We stayed here in early June and loved it. Very friendly owners, a great place for kids, shady and pretty. It's close to hiking, kayaking and historical places. Everything here is very well maintained and the owners add a helpful personal touch to the place. We will definitely go back. Call for directions if you have a big rig.
| Great family campground
We made a camping trip into PA 21 years ago with our older 2 boys and our daughter wanted to make the same trip. We didn't want to stay in a parking lot campground so after much searching we stumbled onto Dogwood Acres. What a find! The campground is just as advertised. Very family oriented, lots of activities and close enough for day treks to Hershey, Lancaster and Gettysburg. The family running the place puts their heart and soul into this place and it shows. The campground is well kept, has a great pool and it is quiet and peaceful. It is out, near the mountains and well worth getting off the beaten path. The lake is great for fishing and they have an awesome frisbee golf course. Planned activities as well. If I had to list any negative, it would be that it was tight for our 5th wheel (39') but they knew just how to guide us in and get us set without incident. While there make sure to take a day and go to Col. Denning State Park and hike Flat Rock trail to the top. The view is spectacular.
