Our first time here. Park is clean. Sites are paved and level. Staff in the welcome center are very friendly and happy to help. Good cable tv. Will definitely be coming back.
This is a gorgeous little park to stay at. It was very quiet and peaceful, even when the campground was full on the weekends. We plan to return in the future, since we had such a relaxing stay here. The campground is hilly, but that was to be expected. There were indoor laundry facilities, nice bathrooms and showers and a place at each site to dump small amount of gray water in buckets filled with charcoal or something. This was super helpful because we fill up our gray tank about twice as fast as our black, so we didn't have to go dump every 3 days. The park is about 20-30 minutes away from anything, but that's okay if you go in expecting that. One negative is that they make you pay $5 per car for the duration of your stay. It's a state park pass. But that pass gets you in to other Georgia State Parks during your stay. CoxFamilyTravels
Very clean easy to find park with many anmenities close and well maintain. I stayed for a Bass Tournanent and it is close enough to Laurel Park Ramp access. Highly recommended and I will stay again...
