Reviews for Former Customer - DOUBLE DICE RV PARK

| decent for a night

By user-4841429... on 2017-10-23.

decent place for a night when in a pinch. spots had good hookups. lots of gravel and no park feeling at all so purely practical. showers, washrooms and laundry were all good. one section had long term rentals and the other had plenty of space for short term

Pros: On site bar & restaurant, showers and laundry facilities. Mostly pull thru stalls. Cons: Narrow stalls (2 rigs with a slide on each side next to each other doesn't work so well). No shade or grass in stalls. Caters too much to long term renters.

Lots of rock. Don't let your dogs use the grass, but you can use the south side. Easy to manage. Nice folks. Little store inside with RV essentials, shower, laundry. Looked like a nice bar and good food. Very accommodating! Will stay again!

Great place especially for one night. Friendly staff. All sites gravel and close but bathrooms and laundry clean. We stayed in a trailer and it will be our first choice. Iron horse was full and Gold Country is a dive

So called super sites are just big enough for my unhitched 30 foot trailer. Expensive for what you get. Clean and well kept.

Right off I80 but u don't really hear highway noise. Paid $40 with GoodSam discount. Nice little grassy area with grill & picnic table. Little snug and some rows you have to completely unhook from tow vehichle. Decent for an overnight stay.

Staff was very helpful. We found the park to be clean and very accessible. You will need to unhook if towing. Spaces easily accommodate 30' RV. Nice grass area with charcoal grill and picnic table. Showers/ bathrooms very clean. There does seem to be a lot of extended stay RV's, although it appears they try to keep you separated. We would stay again.

| Restaurant onsite!

The park is fine, it s great that they have a restaurant onsite. One downfall was although we were in a pull through, we still had to unhook because it wasn t long enough to accommodate both. Staff was friendly!

| In a pinch.....

Only in a pinch would we stay here. We drove thru the park and the dust just about choked us. Office was closed at 7pm when we stopped. Only a few small spots left according to their dry eraser board where u help yourself. $45 a night. Restaurant and bar on the premises. Looked just okay. We did not stay.

Mostly gravel. Some spots had grass. About 1/2 had trees. $40 with Good Sam. we didn t use any facilities. Office and lounge was very messy. Staff was very friendly. Bar and grill on site. We didn t try those either. Not my first choice but Elmo doesn t have much. Served its purpose to have hookups. A bit pricey for what is there.
