Very Nice, Spacious, Friendly!

This is our first KOA experience - we typically prefer public parks that offer more space per site (and save a few bucks). But we're very glad we stopped here on a whim! The sites are more spacious than I expected for an RV park, and extensive amenities with full hook-ups for an excellent price! The whole staff has been very friendly and helpful! They were able to fit us in easily last-minute on a Saturday night in mid-July! Lots of space for big rigs, very nice and clean heated pool, well-kept grounds and facilities (playground, bathrooms, laundry, dog run), mini golf, coffee shop, store, evening dinners and treat socials - all-around very nice place! We were just going to pass through, but we're staying for a few days for some much-needed R&R before we head to Mt. Rushmore :)

Wow, digital cable TV that actually works well! WiFi very capable, 5 Ghz too. Never seen this before, sites have their own enclosed garbage can, how nice!! Very level sites, hard gravel. A KOA gem!

Douglas, WY . . . Our first time staying at a KOA and was pleasantly satisfied. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Park was quite big, clean facilities, nice dog run. Even had a special penned area for horses. If we ever pass thru this area again, we'll definitely stay here!! (nd)

Very Nice

We only stayed one night due to travel plans but found Douglas KOA to be a very nice campground. Far enough from the highway it was very quiet. Dana and Shelby were very nice, efficient and friendly. They had just concluded the extremely busy eclipse Monday yet everything was very well kept and clean. We look forward to staying here in the future.

My family stayed 3 nights (Memorial Day weekend) at this KOA while touring in this area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had dinner and breakfast available for purchase and free Smores each night! There is a little specialty coffee shop. The bathrooms are very clean and the laundry is very reasonable. We would definitely stay again.

Loved the staff, well kept, great little store. The BEST part ... a coffee bar! They cater to animal people and the noise from the highway is virtually non-existant.

Greeted by the most friendly staff and escorted to our site. Sites were long, level, included a picnic table and trash disposal! Campground was clean and well maintained. Laundry facilities were good. Great dog park. Would have given 5 stars if I had been able to get WiFi.

Satisfactory Overnight Stop

We knew this was only going to be an overnight stop so we disregarded any reviews about the esthetics of the campground. We stayed in a pull through and only used the water and electric. The hookups were fine. There was a very nice dog park and also a couple of horse paddocks. My dog enjoyed sniffing the horses noses. Our site was easy in and out.

This is our second time staying at this KOA and both experiences were excellent. Friendly and helpful staff with clean and easy pull in site. Cable TV and a wonderful, clean dog run area. We will be back.

The staff was very nice and you can tell they stress service. Unfortunately, I find parks like this a bit depressing. RVs are lined up with close sites and lots of dusty gravel. The fees are just too high for this environment, in my opinion.

I tent camped for one night and had a great experience! Staff was super helpful and friendly, facilities were clean and kept up well. Will definitely be staying again!
