We stayed 1 night, it was on a Monday in July and did not have reservation. Great price with our Pass. Host says weekends are busy and always booked. Lots of water activities available.
Most sites require reservations, but they do have about 15 spots that are first come first serve. We did not have reservations and stayed in spot 50 which had 50amp electric while Most had 30 amp. GREAT fishing and all water sports. Shade trees, showers, and paved walking trails. Access pass discount honored making stay $10.00 per night. Interpretive center is very nice with tours of the Dam's power plant. Although you can walk to the center, if you plan to take the tour, you will need your car or someplace to leave your bag/backpack. Hosts are very friendly. Limited to 14 day stay...we stayed all 14 days and would gladly return. Dump station close by, water spigots around park. Spot 50 close to spigot as is spot 63. Quiet at night even with all the kids enjoying summer camping trips. Big rig friendly. Very few pull through sites, but easy to back in.
Amenities and only $9 with Golden Age pass. Friendly volunteers manning the registration booth. Large sites, electricity, water, dump and showers available. Don't miss the interpretive center.
