This is a nice camp spot. Deer are numerous and come nearby. Getting in the campground from the host to the sites involves a reasonably tight turn through some trees and if you are towing a car with a coach I would recommend disconnecting. Showers were clean. Cellular service was poor...we have Verizon and it was sketchy.
Very convenient to the lake. Big camp spots. Saw deer and wild turkeys. Ranger noted bears sighted earlier in the week. Stayed 2 nites and went up to Estes park. Very beautiful area. Only negative would be the high grass between the sites and no water. Recommend boating on Carter lake!
