This is a great place to relax. Planned to stay one night and stayed four instead. Large grassy sites, small shade trees. Owners are friendly and helpful. They have maps to Lava Beds and Glass Mountain. Don't miss either. No bright lights so you can see the stars. We'll stay here again when in the area.

As soon as we pulled in, someone rushed out to greet us on a golf cart. He looked as though he could be a relative of Willie Nelson's. Eagle's Nest RV Park was on the grass with a relaxing enviroment. The sky at night was full of decorative stars. The owner provided a sheet of paper with the satellite spaceship times and coordinates offered by NASA. The sunset colored the dusk sky with dark silhouette trees in the background. Our two little teacup poodles are picky park lovers and gave the grounds of grass sprinkled with ground chuck holes a two tail happy wags. Our stay was one night and we look forward going back again. Thank you for the friendly accommodations.

| Ok place

Ok place. Sign says pick a spot and the owner will come to you to register you. We picked a spot and owner came right over to record the electricity meter. He didn't like the spot we chose and suggested we move but then he changed his mind. Had to find him in the morning to have him come read meter again so we could pay fee plus electricity use and leave. Place has nice green grass for RV spots but everything else is pretty dry, some holes around that look like gophers or snakes live in them. Only a few long term residents and a very quiet out of the way place. Ok place for a one night stay.

| Peaceful, quiet, and very different

Just grass, electric (metered), water, and sewer. No wi-fi or cable. Manager was very friendly, but it was just a bit strange. Peaceful setting, though, and quiet, but you have to follow the signs to get in or you take a wasted trip down a private road. Price of 25$ plus electric seems a bit high, but it's a nice setting.

Grassy sites, you actually park on grass not gravel. Soft green grass. Friendly on-site owners. Great place to stay and explore the sights nearby.

RV sites are not very level but acceptable. DirectTV satellite works fine Wi-Fi very spotty. No AT&T cell but works up at visitors center. Generally ok for a night or 2. Bit pricey for what it is. Nice folks and if it makes the price better, plenty of deer about. BUT no doubt about it, this really is the best base for exploring the area.

We were very excited when we saw the reviews. Drove in and was shocked. It s a grass field. The bathroom is a plastic outhouse. They give a base rate then you take a picture of the meter when you come and when you leave. They then charge you for your power usage. The owners are creepy. The owners dog barks non stop. Keep traveling past this one.
