Nice quiet park. Requested and was told I would have 50 amp service. 50 amp service panel has a notice sticker that it is only 40 amps. Baths and showers were older but clean. Dump station area was muddy and made dumping messy and scary not knowing what "water" you were stepping into.
Grass is not mowed and 1-2 feet high. Road is not navigable without risk to ypur vehicle. Open prostitution/drug dealing with apparently permanent rvs (obviously not operable) that look like meth labs. Nasty gate guards, untrimmed trees blocking road, my electic pedestal's breaker would not work on 30 amp. Water hydrant nearly impossible to open due to rust.
New bath houses-very clean. Peaceful location. Need a little improvement on campsite roadway, playground and swim site. Price: $30.00
We stayed here last year and were told to leave half way through our stay because they were going to re pave the roads. Came back this year and were shocked to see that they only repaired 2 small sections. Roads getting anywhere in the park are awful. Leaving the park is even worse! The dump station is a muddy mess. For what they charge they should be able to afford to fix the roads. Other than that it is an ok place but don't expect much.
When camping would campers start posting picture of campground map so fellow campers can see area. Thank you! Fellow camper By the way the roads are craaappy!
