No water hookups - we filled up 1/3 tank at water fountain. Lots are narrow and shaded spots are snapped up first but there are tons of sites so don't pay an online reservation fee - just show up. They let you cruise and find a spot first if you like. The lake has toxic algae, so no swimming. Nice bike paths and bridle paths if you bring a bike or horse. We wouldn't drive out of our way to here again, but options were limited in the area. Make sure you drive to north side of lake where camp office and entrance is located.

| Decent Park for the Price, Very Few Amenities

Good big rig access. All but nine sites (out of 416) are electric only. Restrooms and showerhouses are clean. Not much for the kids to do. Two small playgrounds and a basketball court. Beach is huge but there's toxic algae in the lake so swimming is not recommended. DO NOT USE GOOGLE MAPS SEARCH TO GET HERE! It will take you to the boat launch every time. Campground is on the NORTH side of the lake. Instead, search for: Boars Head Bait & Carryout, Willisburg, OH It's 50 yards from the campground entrance. (Tip from one of the park rangers. ?)

| Must Use This GPS!

Use the following GPS: 2837 Old State Route 32, Batavia, OH to get to campground side of this large park. Failure to do so will cause you to be directed to the beach/boatlaunch--at least 12 miles from campground office:-(

Nice park, but only 9 sites out of about 450 have on-site water and sewer.

No water hookups. Not many amenities. Site was level and concrete which we like. Lots of tents.
