We stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed the park. Our only issue was the ants that we picked up before we left. Bon Ami took care of them. The A&B loops have a great view of the small airport below. We were on the C loop and had a great view of Puddingstone lake and great sunsets. The sites are all paved with grass all around. In the evening there were bunnies running around. One evening we came back after dark and saw a skunk behind the coach. We didn't bother it and it's didn't bother us. The store is well stocked and the check-in staff was helpful. We would stay there again if in the area.
Vacation spots are nice, but the long-term down the hill are packed in. Very hard to drive thru with sharp curves, cars in the way and kids on bicycles everywhere Sat night is party time, so I run the a/c to help drown out the yelling and cursing.
So. Many. Skunks. Plus they charge to receive mail which is pretty audacious.
Enjoyed our stay. Nice campground. You get some aircraft noise from a small airport nearby, but still quiet otherwise. Would stay there again.
Nice clean park in a quiet location. Good space between sites. Good amenities.
Considering this place is quite pricey, I can't believe they don't have WiFi. They have public wifi you can use in the office but it doesn't reach to my space, and I am the second closest to the office as I could get and have a wifi antenna that gives me a quarter mile range. I can't believe they don't have wifi across the park. I don't know what year it is, but I seem to have gone back in time here. Insane. Also, the spots are very close, very cramped, no privacy at all. Other than that it is nice so far, but for $50 a night you would think it would have wifi.
Lovely views overlooking lake and mountains. Nice family atmosphere. If you go on their website you can print off a coupon stay 2 nights get one free if you check in on a Sunday or Monday. My frustration came with the dog Fee of $3 per day and the $30 transient tax which was not included in their quote of $65/ night which I think is misleading. Also do not see dog Fee on their website which is also misleading. Other than that - enjoyed our stay.
In the heart of the city but you're still far away! Excellent amenities, nice grounds well stocked General Store, clean restrooms excetera
Close to the city but it doesn't feel like it. We stayed here a week & we enjoyed it
The staff always goes the extra mile and treats you like family!
The staff is over the top with amazing customer service!
We stayed one night and enjoyed it. Very friendly rangers. Nice level and paved pads. Large rv park adjacent to reservoir and park. Nice views from the upper loops. Bathrooms are a bit dated but plenty of hot water for showers
Unfreundliche Mitarbeiter und keinerlei Nachtruhe. Und dafür 68 Dollar. Auf unserer 4 wöchigen Tour der schlechteste Campground.
Great Lake views, near freeway and quite are a plus. No WiFi and tight spots down the hill. We stayed if F site and had a few skunks. Some of my neighbors looked as if they are long term as they have sheds, tarps, and lots of decorations / belongings on site. One person had trash bags full of cans. I personally think it makes the site look dirty.
