Great spacious site on water
Needs sewer hookup. Surprisingly hilly. Makes biking difficult. Good grocery store in Sneads.
It's a Corps of Engineers campground. That says it all! Well maintained, clean bathrooms, beautiful locations. Why stay any where else!
This is my favorite place to stay. I have been to every state in USA and this is by far the best place to go for peace and quite! I highly recommend it. Get your America The Beautiful Pass and the rates are cheap. If you see "Just Smelling The Roses" on the road just blow your horn. Martha, Merritt Island, FL
We started at A03. 50ft to lake, great views, can fish at site, or go to a few of the public fishing sites within a 5 min drive. Campsite was very quiet, we could sit outside and relax. Also encountered almost no bugs....weird. We ate at Rutabaga Cafe for dinner - make reservations or get there early, highly recommended and decent prices.
Thi is a nice campground to spend a few days. Had a site on the lake. It is always a treat to wake and see the water and hear the ducks in the morning. The bathhouses were very clean and well maintained. However they could use an update. The sites have concrete pads, electric and water. The people were friendly. The dump station has a slight slant towards the drain, this is great because it drains the tanks more throughly and faster. Don't know why more aren't designed this way. They also warn about the Argentine ants, we did not ave a problem. Would stay here again.
Wish we were warned before arriving. Stayed one night and woke up to ants all over in motorhome. Left right away.
