| Interesting history here

Our Nav directed us 'in' off a wrong side road, but we could see the park, so we got turned around and in ok. Lots of trees, gravel sites - sort of level. Much history around this park, very fascinating. They are in the process of renovating, but not a problem for campers. They conduct miniature train rides on weekends and host old fashioned baseball games here as well. Didn't use the facilities. No cable signal. Used our cell hotspot for Wifi. 15 minute drive to St. Joe's - gotta go there! The beach, shops, restaurants, walkways above the water. Plenty of free parking away from the water- pricey at the water. Motorhomes beware - you'll pay for 2 spaces (24.00 total). John & Paula, Colorado.

| Perfectly nice shady place to spend the night

By user-5306982... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2016-07-12 to 2016-07-13

Campground roads are dirt/gravel and sites are on grass with many being under tall trees. Wifi flakey as we could only get one item connected at 1 bar. Verizon/AT&T both have strong signals. Bathrooms are ok and very clean. We got a number of TV stations but only 2 or 3 really came in ok. With our Good Sam discount we paid $23 for a tent/small RV water/electric site (we are 22'), and could park in any open site. The lady in the office was very friendly.

| Good Long Stay

By user-6380956... on 2018-05-17. Stayed 2017-12-27 to 2018-04-27

I spent four months here and was a great stay. Cindy takes great care in keeping things running at the park. Internet was adequate, good water, and no power or sewer issues. If I had a complaint it would be the road noise even though we were off the road a bit, it was quite noisy at times. It is sort of in town which is a great feature if that is what you are looking for. I enjoyed being 5 minutes from groceries, Walmart, fast food and restaurants. Will be staying here when I return to the area
