We made reservations in advance for a 29 foot travel trailer. When we arrived we found the site to small to get our rigg in. We talked to the owner who was very rude and insisted that we could fit. To prove to him we could not we ended up doing damage to our truck. His answer to that was to leave he had no other place for us. This RV park is out in the middle of know where so we ended up with no where to stay for the weekend. There is a state park about a mile away that is very nice but you need reservations.
We stayed here with our 40' bus and had lots of room. The owner was very friendly and let us choose our spot. This is what camping should be. In the trees with grass all around, right on the lake. The lots are not very even so brings some blocks.
Stayed here for one month in fall and the lake view is gorgeous from here, although you can t see it from most rv spots. Due to the fires, the park was almost empty the whole time - that was really nice. The spots are all dirt so leaves and dirt were always tracked in. The spots are incredibly uneven - we had to find big rocks to put under our back stabilizers bc they wouldn t reach the ground. Lastly, the staff and owner really need a lesson in customer service. They re nice when you give them money, after that don t expect any service if you have any issues. Down right rude.
Stayed 2 nights, trash everywhere, dog traces also. sanitary facilities awful, beach ok but dog sh... everywhere. dirty expensive sites. suggest the management to open the eyes and start doing some work instead of just taking the money.
