This place is full of active fulltimers, clean facilities, gravel lots, some flooded. Lots of trees. Not fully impressed, but a very good pitstop. Exchange right next door. Close to beach area.

Came in late at night but we still found a spot. Hang up on postal point was one of the best experiences of our RV travels.

Eglin Fam Camp is small, well layed out rv park. Lots of trees, some gravel, and some paved spots. Unfortunately, the park appears to be run by people that don t RV or have limited experience. It s touted as being first come first serve with a max stay of 6months. In my experience, we agreed to move into a spot the night before the prior guest was scheduled to leave(people we know). We fully setup our camp, stayed the night, and the next day went to pay for our first month. We were told the park was no longer first come first served and we would have to leave immediately. They were now giving preference to post hurricane Tyndall families, which was completely understood and acceptable. We left and were told as soon as the new policy changed we would be informed and they would assist us at that time given the circumstances. Fast forward two months, it s as if the staff forgot about the whole incident. They re back to the original policy, with only 24hr holds for Tyndall families, and no assistance for anyone that gave up a spot to help the hurricane victims. It really is disappointing and frustrating.
