So this is supposed to be a beautiful California state park right on the ocean right? Well, if you have a RV such as a Motorhome, you are assigned to a parking lot right next to highway 101. No electricity, no water, no dump station and all for $45 a night. We are here on March 1st and much of this campground is closed. But apparently they allow the nice spots for trailers but not for motorhomes. Definitely would not stay here again.
This is one of the nicest beach parks around, and it's only 20 minutes from Santa Barbara. We looked at two other places and I'm glad we chose this one. We had a site with an ocean view, but even the ones inside are spacious with lots of trees and shrubs for privacy. Each site has a paved 30' parking pad with space for a vehicle. I would definitely recommend this park!
Great place we only stayed for one night but we loved it. They have a small convenience store inside the camp ground. There's trees every were and in between the camp sites that gives you space from the other campers. The only bad thing is that they don't have a dump station if you need to dump they send you down south to carpinteria that's the closes dump site down south.
We stopped in late January and had the place to ourselves up in the RV section on top. Fairly new bathrooms, but didn't use the showers because we are self contained. Great views of the ocean from 5 spots, our 36 foot Class A fit with our towd along side. Good security, because when we came back after dark the Ranger followed us to our site to make sure we belonged there. We'll stay here on our annual January trip up the coast on the PCH.
Terrible! Noisy by the highway. No electric, no water, coin operated shower all for $45. What a rip off. Apparently another El Capitan with hook ups but google cross references.
