Reviews for Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground

| Good Overnight Park

By user-5799038... on 2017-10-23.

Traveled here in a 32.5 ft 5th wheel. Our site was in very rear portion, next to huge grassy area that was great for our dogs. We had no trees, open space, gravel pad was a wee tight due to picnic table. You have to use their cable box so we just hooked up our satellite. Many shady places are available so you should probably request trees or shade if you want them. There is a small pond/lake for fishing and a decent playground for children. We did not use public rooms so cannot comment on them. The park was quiet enough. Only negative was poor water pressure. Don't know if it can be improved but would be nice to have had better pressure. We would stay here again.

| Camping Style Campground

We stayed overnight on the way south for spring break. It seemed strange that this was in the middle of a residential area, but this is the kind of campground where you would cook smores with friends over a campfire. It stormed badly the night we were there and the water drained nicely. The people in the office were friendly. It would be nice if they had an off leash area for dogs. The playground wasn't very nice.

| Nice Park

By user-5858017... on 2017-10-23.

Older small park, reasonable rates, clean bathrooms, sites were ok but a bit close and were uneven gravel with trees...tables and fire pits provided..lots of pet walking space and children's playground. Most of campers were long termers during this time of the year.

The sites are wet when it rains . Lots of nice green grass for the dog. The pool is nice we enjoyed it! Cable was difficult ( we where handed a bag with a box and cables)so we just use our antenna and got a few good channels!

| Friendly Park

This is an older, former KOA, that is kept up by the friendly owners. Not too easy to find off the Interstate. Get off I 65 at exit 94 and turn right at the top of the ramp. (No signs to campground). Drive about .8 miles and turn left on Tunnel Hill Rd. Campground will be on the left and does have an entrance sign. A nice place to spend a night or a few nights

This is a very nice little park. The owners are wonderful and very helpful. Sites are a little tight but there are pretty trees and very friendly people. We would stay there again.

| Over priced

By user-6216064... on 2018-03-14. Stayed 2017-11-30 to 2017-12-01

Stayed one night and was charged $38. Last two times it was $25. Told that was snowbird rate which started on Dec 1st! Only offered to get that rate in way back in spring. Won't be back.

| Not level

By user-5896413... on 2019-08-09.

Pretty trees but sites not level and utilities poorly placed.

| Good for short stays.

Clean rest rooms and showers. Camp store and can fill propane. Water outlets electricly heated, so is fine for cold weather Pull thru sites are plenty long. They rent cabins here too. Higher rates on weekends.

| Good fishing

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-04-26 to 2019-04-28

Sites are gravel and a mix of sunny and shady. Very nice trimmed trees and lots of grass toward the back with a fishing pond. Caught several nice bass and catfish. Very clean and friendly place. Easy pull thru sites not all have sewer but dump station is easy to use. I would recommend the back row of sites if you have dogs or if you want to fish. More park like in that area. Fire pits and picnic tables at each site. Staff was friendly and delivered firewood when we needed it. $6 per bundle. Nice pool as well. Will return

We might stay overnight again but not for sure. Pool closed at 7:00 so by the time we set up and fixed dinner, it was closed. The water for our site was broken so we had to piggyback off the site next to ours. Sites were uneven and we had to juggle between the trees to accommodate our slides. Because it was a warm day, the electricity was not able to manage all the demand. Our surge protector kept shutting our power down. We didn t even consider using the air.

Campsites were tight, nice pool, cable is non existent. We did find out later there was a box we could get at the office but it was not offered when we checked in. Website said the office was open till 8pm but I was told she would be leaving at 7/7:30 when I checked in. Ok place to stay overnight. Reasonable rate with Good SAM.
