Early season shakedown. The park is well kept. Staff was very friendly. Looks like they are expanding. Sites are nice sized. Good playground equipment. Dog park. Catch and release pond. We will be going back.

Our experience with coordinating a family vacation was not very well coordinated by the staff. When we called to ask questions we were told to make reservations on the web. We asked to be grouped together and requested a tent on a camper site. When we arrived we were not placed together as one of our family groups was placed down a hill and around a bend. When our son arrived on leave from the navy he was met by a rude employee as he followed the signs which directed him to park in the designated area where campers pull in. He was also charged for a full tent on our site that advertised an on site tent for $5. No emails were sent to him upon booking indicating he would be charged full price. When his wife went to the office to complain a staff member could not help her. She spoke with the supervisor and was given excuses. She then wrote a negative review about service and rude staff and posted it on the web after calling corporate to complain. Shortly thereafter, we were visited by the supervisor of the campground and the conversation began with the phrase"I don't appreciate...". When you begin a conversation with that one is immediately aware that it is confrontational more than a service oriented conversation. We were told she explained it fully (which she did not) and that the $5 was only for children. She had no business discussing this with us as her disagreement with another booking was none of our business even if it was a son. We were offered return of our fee (this was the second night of a four day family vacation) and told we could leave. How do you tell three little girls their vacation is over because an adult got mad and wanted to take their toy and send you off? Our son had to pitch his tent on an incline next to the sewer line of an RV parked in the next lot. They had to smell sewer all night. They never complained about that. If you post a bad review be sure you post it after you leave. I never criticize without making suggestions... so here goes... First the staff needs training in professionalism from the top down. You are only as good as your higher ups model. Post better signs upon entry. Campers stop here, cars pull up to office to check in. Then your staff would have a problem solved and not have to repeat constantly to the point of rudeness. Look at your advertising. If it says $5 stand by it or clarify the policy better in your advertising. Consider a reduced rate for a tent on a camper site instead of double dipping and running up charges. The campground had some issues. The gravel was a charcoal mix which crumbled and mad a mess in your camper no matter how many rugs you used. The camp smelled of manure from the pool to our site. On the up side the restrooms were very clean. I have been in education for 38 years and have dealt with many an angry adult but I do know how to be professional regardless of your own feelings. This staff needs some serious training. We have stayed in many a campground from KOA to po dunk pull offs and this was our first bad experience. Hurray for KOA HERSHEY ! You have officially made our number one on list of places to avoid returning to. For this place it is more about the money than customer satisfaction!

Rude staff, incompetent check in, wouldn't allow me to use my Koa points for discount. Said they 'lose' money. Booked and requested sites together. Told they 'assign' 2 days before. Called to reconfirm. Said yes. Show up, all screwed up with one reservation missing. We stayed in town parking lot at local car wash first night as they had 1 but not reservations. Horrible place to stay. Should not be a Koa and not up to stsndards. Avoid at all costs.

| The worst!!!!

We have stayed in many KOA Campgrounds over the years. While you can always find something about a campground that you would change I have never stayed at a campground that I would change everything until Elizabeth-town KOA. Starting with the Staff! Extremely rude women from the start. Booking the site I felt as if I was being briefed for a potential banning from the campground and made to feel like any questions I had were very annoying. Upon Arriving; a young lady runs out a rudely tells us that we are blocking entrance to the slim rock road at the entrance even though we made sure to stay back enough to allow entrance to the left of us. She approached our vehicle with a pointed finger and a tone in her voice as welcoming as a Rattle Snake. Check in was another less than warm welcome as my Husband, myself and the couple following would describe as hateful and, as commented by the other camper," I thought she was going to tell me to shut the H3!! Up or leave." The layout of road to our campsite was near impossible to maneuver as the low tree limbs dented the ladder on our 5th and tore off a light on our neighbors camper. The site left barely enough space for 4 chairs and a grill. The fire pit that sat unattached and above ground was located at the back of our camper just right and one side at the edge of a over grown ditch ( above the knees) and carried a $35 if moved at all ( all the fire rings located in same manor along our row of sites). We checked in around 4 pm but could not complete hook up to water and sewer until after 7:30 pm because when we hooked to sewer and tested drainage the sewer bubbled up all over site. Some one had filled it with rocks ( undoubtably in retaliation of the warm welcome they had received). The 2 gentleman working to fix the problem were nice but unapologetic. We were visited twice during their work by the elderly lady that checked us in but; she neither acknowledge us or felt compelled to offer any apologies. We spent the remainder of our trip fighting the flies that according to them came from the local farmers and not the sewer left on the ground with a dusting of lime. If you book at this campground...don't say you were not warned!!!

Will never stay here again! Some woman I delt with on the phone reguarding refund for unused nights that where prepaid only wanted to argue and tell me how much everything costs to run the place. Then she said she would refund the amount that they said would be no problem in person only If I never stay there again then she hung up!! Really?? I didnt even argue with this person. This was after I prepaid 2 weeks at 245 a week which is an astounding amount. They rip off working travelers for TMI then are rude as can be!!

Nice campground. Sites spaced out, lots of open areas. Lots are pretty level. Good WiFi and facilities nice and clean with friendly helpful staff. Didn't use the pool, but it looked nice.

| Clean campground

Pulled in around 6:30pm and out by 9am, but stay was pleasant. Clean bath houses. Kids enjoyed the chess board behind the Rec center. Pool looked clean; we didn't have time to swim, though. Our site was a bit uneven and small. But it was good for what we needed.

We stayed for several nights in Oct, during a Halloween weekend though we went to Hershey instead. Clean campground. No problem finding site in dark; someone showed up right where to go and offered to assist in backing in. Gravel sites so fine for RV but probably not so much for tents. They did have tent sites though. Not a lot of trees. They have the option of upgraded sites. Very reasonably priced. $54/night and $7 more a night for an upgraded site (Adirondack chairs, fire pit, outdoor grill, gazebo, upgraded table and 4 chairs). The pool was closed when we went but there is one, a fishing pond with small dock, mini golf, maintained playgrounds. The bathrooms were clean and had, what I call, family showers. Laundry room had a table and chairs with books and magazines while you wait. Also, large area where my kids could have run around, even if not doing laundry, on a rainy day. I look forward to staying again next year. I plan to invite family also. 20 mins to Hershey, 30 mins to Lancaster, close to shopping, in a residential neighborhood.

| Like most KOAs, just ok

We've been in several KOAs and this is a better one but that's not saying much. Nice laundry and pool. Slightly hilly with tight sites. Watch your GPS directions and stay away from a tight turn on a bridge over train tracks!
