Its free! Nice park. Disc golf course in park. 30 amp hookup. Stayed one night. Would have stayed longer but had rain coming. Four day maximum stay. Beautiful lake, nice neighborhood.
Four free paved sites, water, 30 amp electric next to lake. Quiet park and will return. Ensure to visit the national Route 66 museum downtown.
I can't believe that it's free! Lake views and electricity. We arrived at 9 pm on a Wednesday in June and 2 of the 5 sites were available.
Ah, finally, a peaceful city park on a small lake about 2 miles south of I-40. FREE to stay and FREE electric hookup! 5 pads, asphalt, somewhat level. first come, first serve. Water is available nearby under a blue box by the picnic table shelter. Heard there was a dump station but didn't look for it. Way better than staying right off I-40, grass, trees, lake. 4 night maximum. Highly recommend, we stayed overnight in a travel trailer, tents also welcome.
Great overnight spot. Easy access to i40. Beautiful and peaceful park. Only 5 spots. 4 had electricity.
Super quiet spot in the off-season
A great free camping spot! We were in the end and did not have a water connection, but we did have electricity. Very nice area right on the little lake. Lots of room to explore and a wonderful running/walking trail right off the parking lot. Most def in our top 10 of free camping spots!!
Beautiful camping right on the lake. Water, electric and a bathhouse with showers. Wonderful people at the campground.
We cruised through to check it out. It is a beautiful area and quiet. Next time we're in the area, this spot is definitely on our list. There is a dump station, but I'm not sure how operational it is as there is no water spicket. Could be just because of the season too.
Clean, paved, 30 & 50 amp; has dump station conveniently located, but does not have water at dump station. 5 sites first come basis. Limit stay 4 days in a 30 day period. We got the last empty space. It did not have water. Very nice.
