Sites are relatively easy to back into (even for this newbie), and there are bushes between each site to give you some privacy. Saw a moose at the entrance to the park on my way in! One note--they have WiFi at the office, but NOT at the sites, so plan accordingly......
We spent 3 days here and really would have liked to stay longer. Very clean sites, although picnic table was a little shaky. Wooded sites with minimal leveling needed. Very friendly owners who are anxious to please. Clean restrooms and showers and a tv room/game room for socializing. Saw moose and deer and lots of hummingbirds. Will return.
We stayed 2 nights in August. Better have some propane for the heater! High mountain summer means cool nights. I had a back in spot with water and electric only. Navigation and parking were easy. Site uses work campers who I found to be charming and helpful. Site not level front to back, but manageable. No TV or phone signal, so if you want to be off the grid, here is the place.
Owners are very nice, park is beautiful, and well worth the price. Clean bathrooms, nice game room and TV room. Site was level, large and had privacy. Even had a moose walk right up to our site!!
Has a variety of types of sites...fhu, w/e, tent and cabins. Each site is different... You are in the mountains after all. Wildlife can be seen in the cg or close by. Great bathrooms!! Cg busy in summer.... Call for reservations especially on weekends!
Very very nice campground. Lots of space. Well kept and very green. High chance to see moose right on the campground. Top facilities. And the staff is so friendly. Enjoied our stay very much.
Beautiful campground! Gracious hosts. Awesome wildlife experience. We had two different bull moose wander right next to our site! There was also a cow and twin calves in the area while I was here but didn t see them. Clean laundry and bathroom facilities. Just minutes from Grand Lake village. Would definitely stay again.
