My experience in the past five years as a summer resident is exactly the opposite of the previous reviewer. The people are warm and welcoming. New owners purchased the park last year but I've had no real issues with them or the previous managers. Elk Pines / Overgaard is a wonderful, relaxing way to beat the Valley heat as well as the hustle-bustle.

| Hated Elkpines RV Park Will Never Return

By user-5654999... on 2017-10-23.

We stayed here for a 4 month summer getaway. The manager's and assistant managers are total Jerks. All they do is ride around the park in a Gem car and look for reasons to harass people who are doing nothing wrong. They "Insist" you pay the four months in full at arrival. Once they have your money, they start harassing you. If you get tired of their non-stop harrassment and ask for your money back they tell you "No refunds". We made alot of friends their and after the first summer stay was very relucktant to come back. But after joining the legion club and going out with friends we decided to come back a second summer. Same harrassment all over. Got tired of the managers being in a "Yelling match" With tenants all the time. Some of the residents go to bed at sunset so if you make any noise at all after that they complain & here comes the managers with a "Nasty threatening attitude". The 2nd summer we were their (and left to not return) almost 30 different residents left to not return because of the managers. I would not recommend this park! Oh, and if you let your pet friendly dog off the lease, omg the managers Read you the riot act and threaten to throw you out with "No refund" if you are super quiet and Have "No life" stay in your rv then you will like this park. Beware, stay away, and avoid this park at all costs. Been their done that & never again. Not worth the harrassment and the $. Do the research, go to other parks, some of the sites have alot of trees & makes it really difficult to get your rv in. The front spots and near the highway, no shade, noisy, and close to managers. Sorry for this really bad review, just being honest, hope it scares some potential rv-ers off.

We came for the summer and feel in love with the community and the park. We now rent annually. Wonderful park.
