Reviews for Emerald Desert Golf & RV Resort

We pulled in to stay at this park two weeks ago. Was wanting for the following week. Park was nearly empty. part of park being worked on. Asked for a particular spot which didn't seem to be a problem since the park was nearly empty. Was told couldn't save a particular spot, only area. Asked if we paid the deposit and spot was not available could we get refund and was told NO refunds. Price was $84.00 and grass was all dry, probably getting ready for overseeding, but definaltey not worth $84.00 in the current condition. Girl was pleasant in office, but could tell she was only an employee. Would think owners would like someone in no matter what it took to accomodate. Didn't stay and wont again. And have stayed at this park many times and it has been beautiful. But guess current owners would rather have sites empty than work with guests...

We enjoyed a nice week long stay here. Amenities and park were great with beautiful landscaping. Pools could get busy in the day but empty come evening time. Monday dinners were fun, as well as the meet and greet event every Wednesday. Nice location and we were far enough away from the train tracks that it was no bother at all. We wished we could have stayed longer!

| Appears to be an RV Country Club, BUT, Next to Busy Train Tracks and I-10, NO REFUNDS

Constant road noise and a very busy train track area adjacent to the RV park. First night, thought we were having a tremor with the trains racing by. Cars even noisier. Internet was spotty at best. Lots are generous. Cable tv good. New building etc. if you don't mind the constant noise. $80 a night, paid upfront, no refund, when we complained and ask to leave the park. Moved us further away from train, but not much improvement. Will not stay again. There are many better places in the desert.

| Not the best. It's OK but crowded, and a bit pricy. The trains are noisy but tolerable. It seems that most RV Resorts must be located near rr tracks. There are other nicer parks in the valley but some are a lot pricier.

| Lovely RV Resort

Just stayed here for our first big trip in our new 5th wheel. The sites are level and cement with lush grass. The grounds are lovely and all well maintained. Gym, pools, bathrooms all immaculate and not busy at all this time of year. Bring some ear plugs as yes the road and trains are a constant but it didn’t bother us a whole lot. Check in and hook ups were a breeze for us newbies! It felt a bit remote to us from some of the local attractions and that is the reason for the 4 stars. Highly recommend especially for two or more traveling together.

This is a great park and very well kept. Beautiful flowers and trees. The manager and activities director were awesome and very helpful. Lots of activities almost every day. The pool and spa were always kept clean with lots of lounges and chairs. On Wed. afternoon they have happy hour with live music and free drinks and hors-d oeuvres. They also have Monday nite dinners for a small fee, bingo and other activities.

Stayed 8/15/18-10/31/18. Crazy hot (we expected), biting flies were terrible as were biting ants. Facilities and grounds were immaculate. No discount for long term. Staff was unfriendly. Pool area is gorgeous. The bad feelings: told we could fit our truck in the drive. Nope. Had an argument w Genl Mgr who needs a Dale Carnegie course and clear they didn t want to do the work to get us into a larger site. Had to park 100 yards from site. Told all the places were taken but there were probably 15 RVs in park out of 300 spaces for next several weeks. How would you feel? Told we could not extend RV over the grass and then everyone else was doing it and parking their trucks in their drives. 3x at the pool mid day when worker adding chemicals to pool. Everyone left. We complained and they continued to do it anyway. They had tent canopies at pool that we enjoyed when first there. Then they cordoned them off w yellow crime tape and noted reserved for named families that stayed cordoned for weeks, saying you could rent them . I thought this was extremely tacky to do when so few RVs there. We would not stay again bc we felt unwelcome and not worth the expense.
