I just called thus fairgrounds looking for a place to spend the night this coming weekend, and was told that they DO NOT allow camping except if associated with an event being held st the fairgrounds. I was also unable to get anyone on the phone except during regular Monday thru Friday business hours.
I am not sure what happened with the last reviewer but we camped here again. We spoke with E.J. Gosner his number is 716-649-3900 ext. 6412 the camping is on the South West corner of the fairgrounds south of Hamburg Gaming. Once again it was a great place to camp. The people are nice and the price is great.
If you are traveling in the Buffalo area and are looking for a nice cheap place to stay this is where to stay. It is about 20 miles outside of downtown buffalo and it is easy to get to. The sites are on nice grass and have full hookups including 50amp power. The people who run it are very nice and are very flexible on checkin and check out time. We come here every year for the allentown arts fest and always stay here.
I talked to 5 different people, from the Casino on the grounds to the people in the fairgrounds Event Center... they do NOT allow overnight camping at the fairgrounds, other than during fair events. EJ Gosner is no longer here, so the review from 06/2016 is NOT current or accurate. There are no hookups south of Hamburg Gaming. I let the nice folks in the Events Center office know that I would put this information out here: Do NOT plan on this for an overnight RV stop.
