we were not. seems only class A rvs allowed to mingle with the other snobs. the place is beautiful and luxurious but no low~class allowed, per management. steve t, sarasota
Very pricey for not much of a welcome. We were 30 minutes late arriving at 5:30, they couldn't wait. Just gave us a key code and told us to come to office by 9 am. When we did check in, no tour or welcoming speech. Just the packet of ownership options. As per the website we planned to enjoy the theatre room and chose a more expensive site to be on the water. We were told the theatre was for owners ONLY, and the site was horrible with airboats constantly running up & down (very loud & fumes from exhaust). A few would have been nice but it was truly constant from 9 until 5. We will continue to visit the Everglades but plan to try another place.
Beautiful paver sites, lush Landscaping right on the river. Very friendly Pleasant staff. Had a great stay.
What a beautiful Park! People at the check-in desk for super friendly and helpful. Nice people, good view, very nice sites, charming old Everglade City so close. I went to the clubhouse to inquire about purchasing ice and they bent over backwards finding me plastic bag and scooping ice from the bar. No charge
Air boats are very very loud. Air boats were constantly near by or going by. Ruined our visit.
One of our favorite places. The air boats are there all day but we get used to them. After a couple of days you don't pay much attention to them. Everglades City is great. Good restaurants a tons of things to do and see in the area. The park is great. Very friendly folks and top notch facilities. It is class A only so if that's a problem I guess you should stay elsewhere. We'll definitely be going back next year.
