Great campground! Very clean! Sites spaced out, generous size.
Great campground but closes at the end of October for the season. This is a shame because there’s a lot of good camping to be had during the late fall and early winter seasons. The campground was fairly easy to get to. Once inside the campground it is well laid our and the streets are wide enough for any RV. The spaces are roomy with easily enough area for a large family. Good water and electric. WIFI actually works. The bath house is great. If you boat there is a ramp just past the campground entrance.
Beautiful site and very helpful staff. Good amenities and very clean.
This state camp ground is the "best" we have stayed at! The grounds are clean, plenty of room between sites, excellent wifi, nice combination of shade and sun, right on the lake and great friendly people run the grounds. Johnny will go out of his way to make sure you are satisfied! Only 30 minutes from Lynchburg's Jack Daniels tours and shopping square.
This was our first stay here, and we truly enjoyed it! It is a beautiful area, and there is plenty of space between sites. So peaceful!
We love staying at this campground. It s right on the lake. They have a nice boat ramp. The camp sites are large, very clean park, clean restrooms that are fairly new. One of their guys (Johnny) is a very helpful guy.
Large, level, graveled sites with water and 50A service. Some have sewer too. Lake is beautiful and there's lots to do on the lake. Busy campground with lots of kids, boats, etc. Plenty of squirrels, birds etc to keep you entertained.
This is a nice campground with good roads and nice sites. However, there have been a lot of trees cut down and sites that once had good shade are now exposed to the sun. Some remaining trees don't look very healthy either, too bad.
