Reviews for Fall Hollow Campground

| Just a grass lot, no shade for RV's

This app shows $22 a night. We were charged $40 a night for full hookups. It was quiet and safe. The park host was very nice. Great for just a overnighter in my opinion but there were a handful of large trailers that were extended stay guests. The restaurant was not open the 3 days we were there learning how to use our new Oliver Travel Trailer. Oliver brought us here and paid for the first night.

| Cute campground, close to the Natchez Trail Parkway, good food

This campground is a gem: part of a charming, eclectic bed & breakfast complex with a wonderful restaurant and great host. The setting is lovely and close enough to the Natchez Trail Parkway to be convenient and far enough away that road noise is never a problem. Everything was clean and well maintained; service was excellent. Some sites level with FHUs (and 30 amp electric), others not so level, without sewer, but with 50 amp. Restaurant serves wonderful food - everything from bacon wrapped shrimp to BBQ meatloaf and “chocolate cobbler”. Host has a wealth of knowledge to share of the history (and characters!) of the area. As their signs proclaim “Fall Hollow Campground: Travelers, Wanderers and Storytellers Welcome.” (And don’t miss the Amish Riding Lawn Mower in front of the office.)

Agree with the other posters about food and owners, terrific! Beautiful crystal clear creek to walk along. Quiet and peaceful.

Good value, friendly relaxed staff, clean bathrooms, # of level sites, good restaurant (th-sat., sun bkfst). Close to town and right on trace.

Based on the reviews, I thought this would be a great place to stay for a couple of days. I must have stayed in the wrong park! It's true that the park is next to a pretty river, but the sites were mostly in the grass or just on top of dirt piles. The utilities look like they were placed randomly around the park, making connections difficult. The restaurant was closed and the bathhouse stank. The WiFi is virtually worthless and there is no cable. Worse of all, this all cost me $40 per night!!! Ridiculous!

We drive by to check it out out as a local go to spot. Unfortunately, it looks like 60% of the campers are full timers. Really disappointed
