| Nice swimming, and quiet
It's a big place and was very quiet when we were there (mid-week, mid-July). Some sites face onto the lake (a.k.a. river). Showers were hot & clean. Nice people on check in.
| Right on the beach!
Dump station and potable water avail. on your way out. 20/30/50 amp elect. at ypur site. There are 2 loops. 1st, larger loop is right on the shore of "Hippie Lake"...which is actually a bay on the Missouri River. Big shade tree to sit under, and swimming right from your site. 2nd loop is smaller, and in a lovely grove of trees. Camp hosts on site. Beautiful, well kept sites!
| Nice Campground!
Stayed at site #44E in a motorhome with a toad. No pull thru but lots of places to detach and the sites are deep and wide and level. Power but no water or sewer at the sites so plan ahead! Would have given 4 stars if water was available at the site. Friendly check in for our reservation. We would be happy to stay here again.
