Reviews for Faver-Dykes State Park

| Beautiful Florida woods and estuary

By user-803001 on 2017-10-23.

The 2 mile sand road to the small campground set deep in the Florida woods follows the winding course of Pelliker Creek into its estuary. Sites are separated by dense woods (which might pose problems for big rigs). Fish were literally jumping out of the water. Kayaks and canoes are available for rent. Only 15 min from public beaches and 30 min from historic St. Augustine, this is a world apart. March, 2013, popup camper.

If you like quiet and remote, this is for you. We enjoyed the canoe and wildlife experience here. The sites are simple but adequate electricity and water. Privacy is good in the forest. Lots of shade.
